Our Mission
We’re on a mission to buck the trend of declining health and development amongst young people. As a family business, we are striving to do all we can for our future generations to ensure they live healthy happy lives.
There are unfair and avoidable differences in health across the population, and between different groups within society. Prior to COVID-19, health inequalities were estimated to cost the NHS an extra £4.8 billion per year.
In England, 1 in 3 children leaving primary school are overweight or living with obesity. Children need more access to equipment that promotes physical development.

Quality – We ensure our factories are ISO 9001 accredited. ISO 9001 helps organizations globally of all sizes and sectors to improve their performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate their commitment to quality.
Environmental – We ensure our factories meet the ISO 14001 standard as it provides a framework for organizations to design and implement an EMS, and continually improve their environmental performance.
Toy Safety – All our foams and fabrics meet the toy safety regulations EN71-3. This standard limits the migration of certain potentially harmful elements. Our factories also comply with the standard UNEEN71 and the respective CE marking.
Design & Manufacture
At Activar, we are known as specialists in the design and manufacture of psychomotor, sensory and safety equipment for children.
We offer a range of fabric colours in both leather feel and pvc material options.
